We are pleased to announce that on February 3, 2011, Portable Pilot Solutions became part of Observation Technologies Inc. of Ivyland PA ( www.obstek.com ). Observation Technologies (ObsTek) Inc, founded in 1986, is a leading supplier of custom marine industry sensor systems. ObsTek’s purchase of Portable Pilot Solutions will enable the full potential of PPS’ product line to be developed.
Originally founded in January 2008 by Delaware River Pilots Wayne Bailey and Steve Roberts, Portable Pilot Solutions (PPS) makes easy to use, reliable, high-quality AIS Pilot Plug interfaces for mariners.
PPS’ products are designed by pilots, lab-tested by professional engineers, and proven to work in the “real world.”
